Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. She is half English mixed with Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish as well as English heritage. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children. Four of them come from her father's previous marriage. The family was initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was very traumatic. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and hoped she could return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend following her departure from Northlands. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and took part in the drama department. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school to pursue a full-time career in acting. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dream came true when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
