
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress, and film actor. She was born on January 31st, 1937 to January 19th 2008. Pleshette began her professional career in theatre and was a part of films in the 1950s and later. She later appeared in important films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Later, she appeared in several television productions and was frequently acting as a guest. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 through 1978 in which she earned several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette, a daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of her were Jewish as were the children of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager in both the Paramount Theater and Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
