Amal Clooney

Amal Alamuddin was born Beirut. Her initial name originates taken from the word'ml', which is Arabic and means "hope". It was just two years old when her family moved into Buckinghamshire from Lebanon in the Lebanese Civil War. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze who is from Baakline which is a village located within the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din Dynasty. He completed an MBA at the American University of Beirut. After the civil war ended in 1991 the family returned to Lebanon. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was editor of foreign affairs for al-Hayat the Saudi-owned newspaper. [16] She is a director of the public relations company International Communication Experts, which is part of a larger business that is specialized in celebrity guest bookings photographer for publicity and events promotion. Amal was the smallest of her three children of one half-sister (Tala) and two brothers from her father's previous marriage. 18 Amal went to Dr Challoner's High School, the girls' grammar school situated in Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, prior to studying at university. Following her graduation of St Hugh's College in Oxford with an Exhibition Grant, as well as the Shrigley Award, she studied at St Hugh's College. In the year 1921, she graduated with her bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in jurisprudence in 2000. The following year she was accepted into New York University School of Law to earn graduation with a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M). The Jack J. Katz Memorial Award was presented to her for outstanding performance in the field of entertainment.
